Ingredients
½ overripe banana
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoons brown sugar
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon chocolate chips (plus more for garnish)
Instructions
1. Mash the banana in a small bowl until smooth.
2. Scrape into a microwave-safe mug.
3. Add oil, milk, and brown sugar, then mix well.
4. Stir in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
5. Add chocolate chips and fold into the batter.
6. Scrape down the sides of the mug.
7. Microwave on high for 80 seconds.
8. Let cool slightly, then top with banana slices and more chips if desired.
