Description
Rich, gooey brownies in a mug made with cocoa powder, chocolate chips, flour, and milk. Microwave-ready in under 2 minutes with no eggs required.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
1½ tablespoons vegetable oil (or melted butter or coconut oil)
3 tablespoons milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional toppings: ice cream, whipped cream, powdered sugar, berries
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
2. Stir in chocolate chips.
3. Add oil, milk, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
4. Top with additional chocolate chips.
5. Microwave for 60–75 seconds until just set.
6. Let sit 1 minute before serving. Top with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Use a 12–16 oz mug to prevent overflow.
Don’t overcook — the brownie will continue to cook as it rests.
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour blend.
Add peanut butter, Nutella, or cinnamon for flavor variations.
