1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
2. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl.
3. In another bowl mix oil, eggs, vanilla, buttermilk and sour cream.
4. Whisk hot coffee into the wet mixture.
5. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30–40 minutes.
7. Cool cake completely in the pan.
8. Melt white chocolate and allow it to cool for 15 minutes.
9. Beat butter, powdered sugar and salt until smooth.
10. Mix in melted white chocolate and whipping cream until creamy.
11. Spread frosting over the cooled cake and slice to serve.
Notes
Use high-quality white chocolate for the best frosting flavor.
If you don’t have buttermilk, mix milk with 2 teaspoons lemon juice and rest 5 minutes.
Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
Store cake at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerated up to 4 days.
