1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper
2. Mix flour, sugars, cinnamon and salt for the streusel then stir in melted butter until crumbly
3. Whisk melted butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth
4. Add egg and vanilla extract and whisk until glossy
5. Mix in flour, cornstarch and salt until the batter is smooth
6. Spread batter in prepared pan and sprinkle streusel topping evenly
7. Bake for 26–30 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean
8. Whisk powdered sugar, vanilla and milk to make glaze then drizzle over cooled blondies
9. Slice into 12 bars and serve
Notes
Cornstarch helps create a chewy blondie texture.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 4 days.
Allow blondies to cool before slicing for clean edges.
