4 tbsp vanilla cake mix
½ tsp instant coffee or espresso powder
3 tbsp milk (or almond milk)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
¼ tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
1 tsp sugar (optional)
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, combine cake mix and instant coffee.
2. Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until smooth.
3. Fold in chocolate chips or sugar if desired.
4. Microwave for 70–90 seconds, watching carefully as it rises.
5. Let rest for 1 minute before topping or serving warm.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, replace milk with brewed coffee or espresso.
Add caramel drizzle or vanilla glaze for a café-style finish.
If using a high-powered microwave, start with 70 seconds to prevent overcooking.
