Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pan.

2. Melt butter and mix with sugars.

3. Add egg and vanilla and stir until smooth.

4. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt, then combine with wet ingredients.

5. Fold in chocolate chips and half the candies.

6. Spread dough in pan and smooth top.

7. Bake for 25 minutes until golden.

8. Press remaining candies on top while warm and cool before slicing.

Notes

Do not overmix for chewy texture.
