Description

This easy Fig Mug Cake blends figs, almond flour, and honey into a fluffy, one-minute dessert full of rustic Mediterranean charm.


Ingredients

1 tbsp almond flour

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Pinch cinnamon

1/8 tsp baking soda

1 tsp Greek yogurt

1 tsp olive oil

1 tbsp honey

1 egg yolk

2 tbsp chopped figs

1 tsp sliced almonds

1/2 tsp sugar (optional)

Extra figs and honey for serving


Instructions

1. Lightly oil a microwave-safe mug.

2. Whisk almond flour, flour, cinnamon, and baking soda.

3. In the mug, whisk yogurt, olive oil, honey, and egg yolk until smooth.

4. Add dry ingredients and mix gently. Stir in figs.

5. Sprinkle almonds on top.

6. Microwave for 70–90 seconds until set.

7. Cool slightly and serve with honey or yogurt.

Notes

Use dried figs if fresh are unavailable. For extra richness, add cocoa powder or nuts.
