Description
A rich and gooey hot cocoa mug cake made with hot chocolate mix, chocolate chips, and topped with toasted marshmallows and fudge ready in under 5 minutes.
Ingredients
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup hot cocoa mix
¼ cup whole milk
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons granulated white sugar
Pinch of salt
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon semi-sweet chocolate chips
Marshmallows, for topping
Hot fudge sauce, for drizzling
Instructions
Add flour, cocoa mix, sugar, baking powder, and salt to a large microwave-safe mug.
Pour in melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and no dry spots remain.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, checking at 1:30 for doneness.
Let cool for 1–2 minutes.
Top with marshmallows and hot fudge sauce. Torch the marshmallows if desired.
Enjoy warm.
