Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
1 oz dark chocolate
3 tbsp milk
2 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
⅓ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1–2 chocolate truffles (Lindt or any soft center)
Instructions
1. Add butter and dark chocolate to a 10–12 oz microwave-safe mug. Microwave in 15-second bursts until melted and smooth.
2. Stir in milk and sugar until glossy.
3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until fully combined.
4. Place chocolate truffle(s) in the center of the batter (do not push down).
5. Microwave on high for 60–70 seconds until the edges set but the center stays molten.
6. Dust with powdered sugar or top with ice cream, and enjoy!
Notes
Use dark or semi-sweet chocolate for a deep, rich flavor.
Do not overcook—microwaves vary, so test at 60 seconds first.
Add a dash of espresso powder for a mocha twist.
