2½ tablespoons Dutch-process cocoa powder
1½ tablespoons flour (or gluten-free blend)
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons granulated sugar or coconut sugar
2 tablespoons oil (canola, coconut, or vegetable)
2 tablespoons water
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon + ½ tablespoon vegan chocolate chips (divided)
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix cocoa, flour, sugar, and salt.
2. Add oil, water, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of vegan chocolate chips.
4. Top with remaining ½ tablespoon of chips.
5. Microwave for 40–50 seconds depending on wattage.
6. Let sit 1 minute, then enjoy with dairy-free toppings.
Notes
Use a 12 to 16 oz ceramic mug for best results.
Microwave time may vary based on mug size and microwave strength.
For gluten-free, use a certified 1:1 flour blend.
Refined coconut oil adds richness without coconut flavor.
