mug cake blondie

How to Make a Mug Cake Blondie

A quick, chewy, buttery mug cake blondie made with brown sugar, vanilla, and chocolate chips. Soft, golden, and ready in just 2 minutes.

  • Total Time: 2 minutes
  • Yield: 1 mug blondie

Ingredients

Scale

2 tbsp butter, melted

3 tbsp brown sugar

3 tbsp water

½ tsp vanilla extract

6 tbsp all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt

⅛ tsp baking powder

1 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions

1. In a large microwave-safe mug, melt butter for about 30–40 seconds.

2. Stir in brown sugar and water until smooth and caramel-like.

3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.

4. Gradually whisk in flour, salt, and baking powder until batter is thick and smooth.

5. Fold in chocolate chips gently, keeping most near the surface.

6. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Check doneness; if still wet, microwave in 10-second intervals.

7. Cool for 1 minute before eating. Blondie should be chewy, golden, and moist.

Notes

Use light brown sugar for best caramel flavor.

For extra flavor, swirl in a teaspoon of peanut butter before microwaving.

Microwave times may vary; avoid overcooking to keep it soft and chewy.

Top with ice cream or caramel drizzle for extra indulgence.
