Ingredients
6 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
6 Tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla bean paste
2 Tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
2. Whisk together the milk, vanilla bean paste, and butter.
3. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until fully combined.
4. Pour the batter into a microwave-safe mug.
5. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. If not fully cooked, continue in 30-second intervals until done.
6. Let cool slightly before enjoying.
Notes
You can substitute vanilla bean paste with pure vanilla extract.
Make it dairy-free by using plant-based milk and oil instead of butter.
This mug cake is best enjoyed fresh from the microwave.
