Instructions
Crack the egg into a large microwave-safe mug and whisk thoroughly.
Add Nutella to the mug and whisk vigorously until the batter is smooth and fully blended.
Microwave the mug on high for 1 minute.
Let the cake cool for 2–3 hours to allow flavors to fully develop before eating.
Serve directly in the mug or gently loosen the cake and transfer to a ramekin or plate.
Notes
Use a 12–14 oz mug to prevent overflow. For extra flavor, top with powdered sugar, berries, or a dollop of whipped cream. Resting the cake for a few hours removes any eggy taste and deepens the chocolate flavor.
