1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, mashed banana, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Fold gently with a rubber spatula until just combined.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
6. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a knife inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
7. Cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
