Instructions
1. Place the butter and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe jug and microwave for 30 to 60 seconds until melted.
2. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, salt, and whisked egg. Whisk until smooth.
3. Pour the batter into a large microwave-safe mug.
4. Press 4 Rolos into the center of the batter.
5. Microwave for 90 to 110 seconds until the cake rises above the rim.
6. Carefully remove from the microwave.
7. Top with extra chocolate chips and confectioners’ sugar.
8. Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
Do not overcook or the cake may become dry.
Use a large mug to prevent overflow.
For a gluten-free version, substitute gluten-free plain flour in the same amount.
Best enjoyed fresh and warm.
